Hotel Bazar, Hotel Grand / The Bazar Hotel, The Grand Hotel | Buziaș

Hotel Bazar (Parc) a fost ridicat în anul 1875, în partea nordică a parcului Buziaș și este integrat colonadei pe care o flanchează. Hotelul este de plan dreptunghiular, cu laturile scurte tratate după un contur pentagonal, racordat printr-un rezalit, parter și un nivel. Este ridicat pe o structură de lemn ce adăpostește la cele două niveluri câte o terasă cu parapeți de lemn traforat sau cu baluștri strunjiți. Partea superioară a terasei este închisă cu panouri de lemn minuțios traforate. Încăperile de la etaj au fost destinate de la început cazării, iar cele de la parter erau prăvălii orientate spre parc, și probabil folosite parțial ca restaurant. Camerele pentru cazare au fost dispuse în lungul coridorului longitudinal, cu rezolvare în dublu tract. Pentru realizarea pereților de rezistență s-a folosit un schelet de lemn din stâlpi și grinzi, între care s-au construit panouri cu umplutură de cărămidă. Scara interioară de lemn este amplasată în aripa sudică a hotelului. Hotelul dispune de un foișor pe latura nordică, pe două niveluri cu un arc în plin cintru, decupat în traforul de la parter. Foișorul de pe fațada posterioară este mai simplu, dar păstrează aceleași trei deschideri și o modelare a traforului triunghiulară la partea superioară. Decorația cu panouri din lemn traforate ale foișorului și ancadramentele de la ferestrele etajului sunt elemente de valoare ale construcției. Partea de arhitectură de lemn de la etaj este în perfect acord cu cea a colonadei. Starea de conservare a clădirii este mediocră, datorită intervențiilor defectuoase, ancadramentele ferestrelor au fost în mare parte distruse, fiind introdusă tâmplărie de plastic la toate ferestrele. Clădirea se află în proprietate privată.

Hotel Grand este o construcție care dispune de parter și etaj, de plan dreptunghiular, din cărămidă, cu acoperiș din țiglă ceramică. Fațadele se înscriu în tendințele istoriste ale epocii, cu fațada anoste ritmate de înșiruirea ferestrelor, încercând să exprime monumentalitate și înscriere în tendințele istoriste ale vremii, dar bolțile aplatizate de la subsol încă le leagă de tradițiile constructive ale secolului al XVIII lea. Curentul neoclasic este prezent și la Hotel Grand, dar constituie stilul preferat pentru stabilimentele balneare. Hotelul dispune două intrări, una principală, iar cealaltă spre parc, având decorații care preiau în lemn același model de trafor al colonadei. Legătură cu parcul se făcea printr-un pod, ce era suprapus de o bretea a Colonadei. În prezent, starea de conservare este mediocră, construcția se află în proprietate privată a S.C. Tratament Balnear Buziaș S.A .

The Bazar Hotel (Park Hotel) was constructed in 1875, in the North side of the Buziaș park, and it is integrated with the colonnade, flanking it. The hotel has a rectangular outline, with shorter sides following a pentagonal contour, connected by an avant-corps, ground floor, and an upper floor. It is erected on a wooden structure housing on each of the two levels a terrace with fretwork wood parapets, or grooved balusters. The upper area of the terrace is enclosed by painstaking fretwork wood panels. The upper level rooms were made for the accommodation of guests, and the ground floor held shops facing the park, and perhaps some were partially used as a restaurant. The accommodation rooms were arranged in a double-loaded block pattern. For the making of the resistance structure walls, there was a wooden skeleton made from pillars and beams, and in between brick filled panels were placed. The wooden internal staircase is placed on the South wing of the hotel. The hotel holds a tower on the North side, on two levels with a fully centred arch, detached from the ground floor fretwork. The rear façade tower is simple, and it keeps three openings and a model of triangular fretwork on the upper side. The fretwork wood panel decoration of the tower and the upper floor window frames are valuable elements of the construction. The wood architecture side from the upper floor is in perfect accord with that of the colonnade. The conservation state of the building is mediocre, due to faulty interventions the window frames were mostly destroyed, and they replaced with plastic fittings on all windows. The building is a private property.
The Grand Hotel is a ground floor and upper floor building, with a rectangular outline, made from brick, and covered by a ceramic tile roof. The facades pay tribute to the historical inspiration architecture of that age, with dull facades diversified by rows of windows, in an attempt to suggest a monumental structure and to align with the trends that were popular then, and the flattened basement vaults connect the architecture of the building to the traditions of the 18th century. The Neo-Classical current is also present in Grand Hotel, but it constitutes the preferred style for the spa establishments. The hotel has two entrances, a main entrance, and another towards the park, with decoration having the same model for the wood pieces and the columns. The connection to the park was provided by a bridge, superimposed on one of the sides of the Colonnade. Currently, the conservation state is mediocre, the construction is the private property of S.C. Tratament Balnear Buziaș S.A .
